A Life in Color

Welcome and thank you for being here.

As you can see, my art is vibrant and saturated with color, made possible by the magic of alcohol ink. I recently began exploring this medium and quickly fell in love with its unpredictable nature. I never know exactly how a piece will turn out, and those “happy accidents” (as Bob Ross would say) have become some of my best sellers.

Living in Wisconsin continues to influence my art with its ever-changing seasons, wildflowers, birds, and critters. The beauty in nature reminds me to stay curious, to let go, and to trust the process, and have fun.

Art has always been part of my life—from crayons, pencils, and paint-by-number afternoons with my friend Roxanne, to acrylic and watercolor as an adult. Creating greeting cards has long been a favorite expression of mine and remains something I love sharing at local markets and with friends and family.

As a full-time sign language interpreter, I had the privilege of interpreting multiple art classes throughout the years. It was a joy and a challenge...so very hard to not be able to jump in and paint with the class! I am still working as an interpreter but am fortunate to be doing that work from home which allows much more time for creativity and art making.
